replied to the topic How can i "thicken" my blood? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years, 2 months ago
Hi
You cannot thicken your blood in the sense that you mean. The clotting agent in your blood is based upon on your white blood count and how healthy your red blood cells are.
To pump up both I would suggest a course of iron tablets and plenty of liver (if you can stomach that).
Otherwise spinach and broccoli are good sources of iron. These…[Read more]

You know I was cynical.
I actually believed that I had seen the worst ink that the ‘net had to offer.I stand corrected.
Shite does not begin to cover this but the ‘It’s my dream’ bit had me reaching for a bucket.

replied to the topic Does anyone know of a good way to translate Sanskript? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years, 2 months ago
Hi
As said you need somebody that can read and speak the language as there are many words with variation and phonetic differences between male and female.
Do not trust a website – look into your local colleges university or invest in a dictionary which is done by a reputable publishing house.
I have seen a lot of hebrew tattoos that are wrong…[Read more]

As tribal goes it is not a bad piece and no reason why cannot live happily with it.
You could go for very fine filigree in some of the spaces and maybe a few highlights but I would only suggest that if you know an artist who really knows what they are doing.
Otherwise it is a fine enough piece of ink and prob best left alone.

replied to the topic new home made tattoo removal? in the forum Tattoo Removal Discussion 14 years, 2 months ago
All joking aside,
Your options for removal are limited to;
Abrasion removal (sander or filing it off) – leaves a scar very messy and painful.
Acid removal – leaves a scar very messy and painful.
Surgical removal – They cut the tattoo out and skin graph another piece over. Leaves scars, painful and expensive.
I have seen the results in person…[Read more]

replied to the topic Will my tattoo stretch as I grow? in the forum Tattoo Questions and Experiences 14 years, 2 months ago
Hi.
A direct answer to your question is yes your tattoo has a high chance of distortion if you get tattooed before you finish growing.
Example;
My step father had a simple heart outline done on his chest when he was 12 years old. It was his first piece of ink and although DIY had the same process as a modern tattoo.
He told me that by the age…[Read more]

Hi I like the piece a lot and personally I would extend the shadowing so that it wraps further around him and ends at his shoulder.
This would create a shroud effect that was often associated with Jesters during the medieval times that they both bringers of joy and amusement but also death messengers.
It is a well executed piece and would love…[Read more]

Hi
Why not take the words and get the text to form the outline of the symbol you want such as a cross, fish, or dove?
If executed properly they can look very nice.
As for the no tattoos many people will always qoute

Hi
To clarify my post the 2 months wait is only if you wanted to add fresh ink to what was there in terms of a rework or cover-up.
If you try to tattoo straight over fresh ink it won’t take and your next tattoo can go horribly wrong.
If you are trying to lighten it then as Arni said but still needs to heal before you do anything else ink…[Read more]

Hi
There are 3 main options that you can go for;
1. Laser it off until it is gone or faded enough to get a full cover done over it.
2. Get it covered by expanding the size and a different font and maybe add some extra details.
3. Keep the orig design and work some filler background through and around it to make it look better.
A cover up…[Read more]

Hi Wardy
Personally I think a spiderman and web will go nicely with your comic collection.
What I would say is get a bit of colour in on it for the web and make it pop.Every person I know with just cobweb tattoos has done time and some have the spider (up or down depending on whether they want to continue a a criminal).
That said these were…[Read more]
