That is pretty damn good stuff. Very full, vibrant colours, which i always go for in my tattoos as well.

Its definitely doable, might have to be in a different spot though. Side of the hand is a pretty small area to work worth, and youve got some detail to worry about in those 2 pics. Really though, these are questions you should be asking an artist in person.

Are you sure its a true half-sleeve? Those usually take multiple sessions.

Anyway, be sure to eat something before going in, try not to take any pain medication, at least until after its done, and just relax.

Honestly, i dont really like the sketch. Just seems kind of flat. I would recommend going to an experienced artist, preferably one who has done biomech before, and show him/her this drawing. Im willing to bet a good artist could rock that sketch easily.
