Hi Wardy
The simple truth is that most conspiracies are actually very boring ones. By this I mean that it is usually big business and lobby groups sponsored by big business who splash huge sums of cash around for influence, political favours/concessions, cover up of health scares (tobacco industry is a prime example).
Every government in the…[Read more]

replied to the topic Process of sacrification to remove a letter on a tattoo in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 13 years, 8 months ago
Hi
Scarification is the last thing you want to do if you are planning on tattooing over the area again.
They cut away the skin to leave what will form into a deep scar – this can be in the shape of the letter or just a square.
The shape and healing of the scar is not guaranteed as down to individual healing.
However in order to tattoo back…[Read more]

I have had my entire back done and from what i recall the spine does get quite painful.
This is because it is so close to the bone but it is more of a grinding vibration after 15-20 mins.
The kidney area of the lower back does sting a lot. was one of the more painful areas of the back for me.
That said if I can survive it anybody can. 😀

There are 2 solutions;
1. You can laser it off and redo it.
2. You can loop the second ‘o’ so that it loops through the first and hangs below in a chain link. Add a halo effect to the ‘o’ and it will work out fine.

Hi
The key thing is to know what art you want and where you want them on your arm. Sounds logical I know but a lot of ppl have a habit of swapping ideas and placement around so you have to be certain.
Then decide on what sort of filler (if any) you want in the spaces that is left afterwards.
The artist will measure your arm draw up the piece and…[Read more] -

Hi Wardy
It is a joke as you have put
My tattoo won’t let me pay for any of my tattoo’s
You have put tattoo instead of tattooist so it sounds like your ink has come alive and is controlling you 😀

Depends on the person really.
I was sat in a sauna and a woman spent 5 mins tutting, sighing, and generally making it clear she hated my ink.
When she finally asked why I would get my entire back ‘mutilated’
I advised her that to be taken seriously as a serial killer….
Anyhow she ran out of the sauna by that point.
I was going to add ……[Read more]

I have seen hundreds of skulls, spiders, severed head tattoos etc none of which I would ever like for myself.
That said some of these styles have been mind blowing in their execution and detail.
I have a number of boundaries;
Some art I do not like and would not want (even if it was free). Admittedly quite rare but an example was my local art…[Read more]

Well worth watching.

Some nice old school style you have gotten done.
As you say it is about personal taste.
I was seriously tempted by a voodoo doll (with spilled stuffing) pin cushion type tattoo today. Not my usual bag but something about it just kept making me laugh.
Looking forward to seeing the next 2.

Hi
As long as it is a pro shop very little risk as long as the tattoo is well cared for and no picking, scratching, or playing with it.
Things to bear in mind are that the tattoo should be a min of 10 pt in size or larger for clarity.
The wrists and ankles can be used but also consider the shoulder blade or the pectoral (above the breast…[Read more]

Hi
The bleed issue is where if you go over a piece of skin several times the scar tissue in the pores (which holds the pigment in place) tears and causes the ink to blow out.
This can cause a bleed or blur of the ink. The thing is to treat white pigment like any other ink and not go over the same area too many times.
As suggested a hint of gray…[Read more]

Hi
I disagree a well done quote tattoo is just as nice as any picture tattoo it is just a different form of art.
The reason they get slated so much is because they often have the 2 main faults (spelling issues aside).
1. Bad fonts – You want a font that is both large enough to read, as well as being able to read without discomfort.

I think good ink just enhances the natural chars that women have.
That said the picture in all the Nazi get up just made want to smash the screen in. Photoshopped or not it is in really bad taste.

Hi
I would suggest researching Tiki tattoos for meaning behind each creature (whale, turtle, etc) and the warrior faces each have a meaning.
They are very cultural tattoos based on their folklore and mythology.

I’d hang it on my wall with pride. I don’t normally like skulls, but that is a sweet piece.
I am sure he will respect the effort regardless and that is what counts.

Hi I like it quite an orig take on day of the dead.
I would personally add a splash of colour to her lips but that is minor and a personal taste thing.
Post up when fully healed like to check some more detail of it out.
