Hey guys,

How good does sacrification work to remove a small letter on a tattoo?

Hi

Scarification is the last thing you want to do if you are planning on tattooing over the area again.

They cut away the skin to leave what will form into a deep scar – this can be in the shape of the letter or just a square.

The shape and healing of the scar is not guaranteed as down to individual healing.

However in order to tattoo back over it you would likely need a skin graph and to wait a min of 5 years for it to work.

I have had skin graphs inked over and it is really hard for the ink to take and is really more painful than a normal tattoo.

Scarification is an extreme form of body mod and shouldn’t be messed around with unless done by a professional and only after serious thought.

I am not against it but think in this case totally unsuitable.

Take care
Matthew

Who told you about this nonsense? You were already told in a completely separate thread that this is a VERY bad idea. Believe us… we’re trying to help!
