Yeah, absolutely, but it’s going to kill me waiting for him to return to the US to tidy it up and add the fine details. He went out of his way to do this much in 1 sitting though, so he did what he could.

Spider looks ok, but yeah that pinup is rough man. I hope you have someone experienced in portraits doing that Hannibal piece. Portraits are tough to pull off if you don’t have a lot of experience doing them.

Both Josh’s and James’ portraits sucked ass. Personally I think James’ was worse, but it really could have gone either way. Josh is afar better artist than James, but these are judged based on individual challenges.

Thanks guys! That’s what I thought. I emailed him a couple days ago. I’ve done a good amount of scrutinizing his work. I think he’s really good but of course I couldn’t just go on my opinion since I’m no artist. I made a post a while ago that was to get opinions on his work and everybody thought he was really good.…[Read more] -

The first link doesn’t work so given the choice between the other 2, I would go with this one. It’s your tattoo though so you should decide or let your artist decide, since he/she will know what would work best as a tattoo. Speaking of artists, post their portfolio once you find one you are considering.

You really have a knack for misinterpreting people and starting arguments based on your assumptions.

Your first piece is a back piece from Victor Portugal? How are you going to top that? 🙂 It’s like banging a chick for 4 hours on the first date.
Awesome piece btw. Can’t wait to see the rest.

I can why the client would have to disclose it, but I am uncertain as to why the artist would be expected to disclose it. Call the health department and ask them.

You guys are wasting your time. The OP has made it very clear that he doesn’t care about quality. Hell, he specifically posted a thread requesting a scratcher.

I don’t have any rib tats, but many people consider it to be one of the most painful areas to get tattooed so I would count on it being pretty damn painful unless you’re 400 lbs and have a good 6″ of flesh between the outside world and your rib cage.
