You can always do one of those reeally grapfic tattoos, where it looks like someone has litteraly torn out a part of your rib.
With blood, flesh, muscles, all of it. A bit too “horror” maybe for such a tattoo? 😛
(thinking of it though, that might be the coolest thing I could imagine a guy tattooing for me. )

If you’re in Denmark, just go to Copenhagen. There are TONS of great artists there.
I don’t know too many of them, but Baby Loo Tattoo is a good one.

Try actually -being- independent, and figure out what actually matters to you, and what it means to you to be independet.
Go to a library. Read up on mythology, symbolizm etc, and I’m sure you can find something that suits you. Better than you will on a forum.

I hate lining on big pieces. Especially the one I’m working on now, because I can’t see shit. It’s kinda like a surprise eachtime he filles up on ink, I never know where it’s gonna hurt next!! And you get that “first” pain all the time.

I’v done everything from 1hour sittings, upto 9hours.

On my backpiece, I do about 4 hours each time. Due to money(my current artist is pretty expencive – but worth it) mainly. And, my piece is of such a sort that it’s better to finish one part each time, in stead of having some parts just half-way done 🙂

I got my last tattoo done nearly three weeks ago as well, and I have just the same thing. But I did A LOT of black, and the places that bled the most, are def. taking some longer time to heal.

I don’t really mind the shading… What you could do, is add some white in between to make it “pop” a bit more, and maybe do the same with the other tattoo. You can have some shading added to the other tattoo, which also work to make the letters and the chinese characters look more like one piece, instead of two.
