Or sluts…
that the female sterotype that has to dealt with. Except, infortunately, that can have a direct impact. People may avoid men with tattoos because of intimidation, but women thought sluttish are more likely to risk being hassled on a night out etc
But I feel I’m at the age when I can quite happily tell someone who bothers me to sod…[Read more]

Hey
Sherav wrote a blog which I’ve read and I’m sure he’d let you see – he is one of the best informed people on here. He wasn’t saying it was immoral either btw, just that be careful around other people who might not react in a positive way (for example, the tattooist, who wouldnt be bound to make up an ink specially for you anyway), much like…[Read more]

Hey 🙂
Welcome, that sounds like an awesome collection. I like literary tattoos so if I were ever to get more they’d all follow that theme – I like linked things.
I agree about the cover up – need to see it – but why do you want to cover it?
As to your sons…are they like a particular animal? My dad has called me Monkey since I can remember…[Read more]

Hey
mine’s tiny, and I’ve only had it a month so I can’t really compare BUT
Yeah. And it’s not you, its worrying about other people. Mine is seen pretty much in any shoes that aren’t trainers. I love it, and I’m proud of it too.
But it’s been a week of balls and so on at my uni, and friends have started graduating. People at my uni don’t really…[Read more]

Hey 🙂
Idea sounds fine, but if you aren’t sure, it really shouldn’t matter what any of us think.
What other directions would you like to take it in?

I’m really sorry NoLube, I don’t understand your response? Maybe I’m just reading it wrong?
Which of us do you think asked for guidance on two flowers? I havent researched it…those are just ideas?

Little bit ridiculous answer there…considering the number of guys on this forum with cherry blossoms, butterflies etc.
Phoenix – literally type phoenix tattoo into google and you’ll get hundreds for inspiration. Prefix with ‘medieval’ or ‘fantasy’ (etc) to be more specific.
Lotus – I would look at some buddhist artwork, as that’s where all the…[Read more]

Do you mean Me, Gsouder or the website.
Well, I should only speak for myself here, but I assume that Gsouder as well as myself was joling – considering we both have tattoos.
However, that website I put up, and the bible quotation I used, were sadly very real.

replied to the topic Memorial tattoo ideas in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 15 years, 8 months ago
Ok, so you have memories of the beach together.
Why not get a shell with her name incorporated into it? If you had her name in a banner around a twisted shell it could look old school style and still be completely masculine?
Other ways to subtly get the name in is use the lines of the shell to make up her name?

Hey
I’m so sorry about your sister.
It might help if you tell us a bit more about your sister, and yourself. What were either of you into, what did you love and what special memories do you have of her?

What do you do for a living?
What did you enjoy/do at school/college?
What are your dogs called?
If you didn’t have to worry about social stigma, would you tattoo your face?

I know it. Whoop to Essex 🙂
I actually got mine done in my uni town, but I’m from Essex
Try Flaming Gun in Colchester. My friend goes there and they were also just featured in a magazine for best colour tattoo at a convention (I think it was total tattoo) They have a huge variety of work going on and seem really good. They were really helpful…[Read more]

Aw Sherav, it’s gorgeous 🙂
I really like how you didn’t baulk from having butterflies, they really open up that space and add to the overall detail.
What a lovely, lovely piece. You must be thrilled. Does your wife like it?

I wasn’t allowed anyone in with me, just a heads up on that. My friend had to sit out in the main studio whilst I got mine done.
Also, mine didn’t really hurt. I think I was lucky, not that some people are wimps. Pain is subjective – I’m a bit of a hypochondriac and generally have a low pain threshold. In addition, I pass out after most…[Read more]

Well I have two others planned in my head, (both of them on my feet again!) but they are unlikely to ever come to fruition sadly. My boyfriend really doesn’t want me to get anymore, and whilst yes, it’s my body etc, he was really nice about me getting one despite not really liking them, so I feel respect for his opinion is important, and I am…[Read more]
