Hi
The main thing is keep it clean and do not over moisturise the area. I would suggest applying a small layer of antiseptic cream for 3 days on the area that is pitted.
The pitted area is where the ink may have fallen out and is an open wound. To minimise scarring you need to let it breathe which it cannot do through a barrier cream. It stops…[Read more]

Sorry unlicensed tattooing discussion is not allowed on this forum.
I would suggest that you head over to outlaw’s forum and click on my signature and have a good read before attempting any more work. You can end up seriously damaging yourself or somebody else.

Hi Junah
You sometimes find that tattoos with heavy pigmentation can flare up as the skin is irritated by inflamed scar tissue beneath the skin.
It can also become raised in exposure to heat especially showers, baths, steam rooms, also when you sweat. I tend to find I get prickly feel and raised which tends to go down quite fast.
There is not a…[Read more]

Hi Charles
It helps if you involves yourself a little more as part of the forum or post up your own ink or ideas for ink or if you hate ink and the reasons why etc. Otherwise it is a bit like somebody pushing a clipboard under your nose in the street.
However in answer to your questions;
1. Matthew – I do not tend to disclose my last name and…[Read more]

That silver springs by Fleetwood Mac is seriously scary…
I mean with lyrics like:
‘Time casts a spell on you but you won’t forget me.’
‘I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me.’
‘I’ll follow you down to til’ the sound of my voice will haunt you.’
‘You’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you.’
Now the…[Read more]

I have a Lost theory.
Actually it is nothing to do with that awful tv series but again felt that this theory has slipped away from the minds of ppl. Thus could be considered ‘lost’.
I have a theory that if we laid out all the socks that go missing in the wash (even though you know you put a pair in the machine). The sheer weight of all these…[Read more]

Whoa read through the thread and damn it seems to have slipped off the deep end…
To bring it back online –
Temporary tattoos have made some major improvements from the 70’s lick and stick. Personally I don’t see anything wrong with ppl using them if it makes them happy.
As for testing out against a real tattoo – that is something which is…[Read more]

Once again the artist is doing the cover-up some serious justice.
Looks like you are investing some serious cash in those sleeves. Looking great though.Take care

Hi
That is no where near the worst tattoo I have seen and can easily be relined and shaded to make it pop more. It is not that bad just needs a pro artist to do it some justice.
You def need some colour in there and see what can be done about the chin.

Hi
If you can stand the pain I would suggest a rib piece for a phoenix because then you can always wrap further round into a backpiece at a later date or leave it as a stand alone piece.
As for the quotes you could always combine them.

Hi
It depends on how much you want to use of your arm for a sleeve. If you went really dark and giger-style you could prob cover over both tattoos with metal cables through the flesh.
This would make an interesting piece – just an example of the…[Read more]

Hi
I like it a lot.
My only constructive criticism (nothing major) is I would personally add a little more shadowing to the trenchcoat.
It is a very interesting piece.
Could you post up again when healed as the cream reflection is making it a bit hard to see.Take care

Hi
What you have experienced is called ‘tattoo fever’ the sickness and fatigue is often a symptom of that. The chest pains could be linked to the accelerated stress your body was under.
I often feel ill after a tattoo session with cold-like symptoms and a fever that tends to clear up within 48 hours.
The reason for this is because you have just…[Read more]

I asked about this.
Most tattoo studios will request that the customer disclose any BBP’s that might put the artist or other third parties at risk.
In the UK knowingly transmitting a BBP such as HIV you can be charged with Grievous Bodily Harm. yes there is a lot of argument about the ‘knowingly’ as premeditation is required.
The artists I…[Read more]

In answer to your question yes laser surgery hurts and in my experience hurts more than a tattoo.
I had a load done on some scar tissue to try and reduce the mount of scarring on my upper arms and back and mostly my legs.
It was like having a hot needle pushing through flesh and the stinging/burning sensation lasts for days afterwards.
It also…[Read more]
