Why not get it with an angel beneath and their wings arching above with the words done on each wing and sun rays shining down from around the edges.

Alternatively can have vines wrapping around and the words put on a stone tablet or scroll.

Lot of scope all of them will work.

Yes those are surface scars and will cover up no problem as the pigment you are using is going to be much darker than the one used before.

From the colouration as well those are old scars (over 12 mths) so the healing beneath the skin will be fine.

You can always maybe go for a cover up or add symbols to the piece. But as already stated a photo will help as we can then see sizing and space available.

You really want to go to a reputable place with decent equipment – check my signature there is a breakdown of the various lasers out there.

My advice is if you are worried about blemishes or scarring etc is to have the tattoo faded enough for a pro coverup to be done.

It is a bit early to tell however the excess ink should wash away within 5 days of the tattoo.

If it has blown looking at the picture it is easily corrected with some extra shading along the lines and within the crest itself.

You really need to give it a couple of weeks and then check it again. Also any chance of a sharper picture?

The last thing you want is anything abrasive on your skin. The tattoo surface takes 2 weeks or so to heal but beneath can take 6-8 weeks.

You should be using something soft and non-scented many liquid soaps are fine as long as you can avoid those with alcohol and high levels of petroleum (over 45% – none at all is best).

Get a very soft cotton towel and hot wash it before each use. Make sure it is wide and long enough to cover the entire back.

If you are wanting to wash the back tattoo soak the towel in water and a cleanser of choice (non-scented liquid soap) rub the towel until you get a foam on it and then drape over your back.

It will only be effected if you have massive weight gain or loss. So as long as you are not using steroids or growth hormones you will be fine.
