Hi Peeps

Here are the links to my ninth sitting as I got ‘Tramp Stamped’ lol :p

But seriously I take my hat off to you ladies because damn did this session hurt the sting on my fat handles was particularly uncomfortable but I think it caps the piece off nicely. It was looking a little unfinished.

Healing on this has been tough as my cd count has been down so a lot of blood, bruising, and after a shot heavy scabbing. There is a bit of the dreaded silverskin but it is healing up ok so should be gone soon.

It has been 2 weeks since I had it done.

The next step is the geisha and horns/talons (3 hrs) then a final touch-up session and some purple smoke adding to fill in the blanks. (Also my wife took the shots and damn they are at funny angles :p)

Here are the links (I am too lazy to get it to work as image cos it never works for me)

As always constructive criticism welcome.

Construtive critisism? What’s to critisize? It’s stunning. So will it be finished when the giesha is completed or do you have plans for the tiny bit of space left between her and the dragon?

This is why I was asking for criticism because both me and my artist are looking at that space and thinking ‘needs something’.
I am adding some purple mist but that is just as a refiner.
I am thinking maybe some floating leaves and petals.

@ ppornan I am considering a full chest piece which was inspired by the lovely April’s hourglass & roses my artist fell in love with the idea and is currently sketching an interpretation of that piece. However due to health issues I think I am gonna need at least 6 mths to recover from this one – and I need that time to convince my wife to let me get more :p

@ April he wanted to know if you were a tattoo artist and said that if you are not get training with those art skills.

I appreciate the support as my area and circle of friends/peers are not keen on ink in the slightest.

Take care
Matthew

Hi

Just as a quick up date I have had my 10th session and have pretty much finished up the tattoo. I am down for a 2 hour (max) touch up and a few power lines around the dragon to thicken it up and add some purple mist.

The session went well it was damn painful on the kidneys – all battered n bruised. I also bled a lot it got to the point where I was feeling all warm n fuzzy and tired. 😮

I will post up pics in a few days when bruising goes down as cannot really see the colours at the mo.

Thanks
Matt

Hi

I took some pics but will get some better shots done when fully healed (Be a couple of weeks and will get some proper shots done). The colouring is still a bit off as bruised up but here are the links (I left them big so you can see detail).

The geisha has been done in a pink/green kimono and a white/pink makeup. We also did some work on the dragon head, fangs n talons. I also had the dragon spots added.

I have 2 more hours as want more smoke and fine tuning as not happy with the gap left between dragon and cliffs.

Constructive criticism and thoughts always welcome as last chance to improve on this piece (there is always room for improvement 🙂 ).

This piece is so beautiful. I would love to be able to do work like this one day, seeing as I’m only 17, and just started inkin’ people up. I don’t even have my own power source yet. ): But anyways, we aren’t here to talk about that, back to you piece, when you’re finished with it completely, i was wondering if you could email me a pic or two, seeing as I don’t log on here too often.
