As for the stretching question if you bulk up, not sure about arms but one of the tattoos on my back stretched a little after about 1 year or weight training. It’s not huge difference though.

I wouldn’t go back to the same shop as it would be pretty awkward. I certainly wouldn’t go back to the same artist. I think the lion looks ok it’s just a weird pose to choose. That hannya mask however is awful. Get it fixed at another shop.

Want a sleeve by Valerie Vargas, and individual tattoos by Tim Hendricks, chad koepelinger, shige. Most of those are unlikely to happen although Chad would be the most accessible. I’ll probably get some more next year from Stevie edge too.

Sweat and humidity is bad for a healing tattoo. I would have a break of at least a week before playing footy. But you should be ok to run 3 days after the tattoo, but if you feel it stretching (the skin gets tight when it heals) you should stop.

The first 3 days is the most crucial part.

Never happened to me. I wouldn’t apply anything to it for the first 3 days as its still an open wound. Just keep it clean (2-3 times per day) and let it air-dry before rewrapping.

I like the concept but it’s not executed very well in the example you posted. A good artist could nail it however.

Mate I think you’d be crazy to remove such a nice tattoo, it seriously is a good one. the people who have made “unflattering comments” are probably not people who like tattoos and will put you down no matter what you had on your arm.
