I think that is FANTASTIC work and with that amount of straight black. Lines are insanely clean givin the huge size of the piece and also the placement. That’s beautiful.

BTW: Tell your wife she is a BADASS.

I’ve had issues with this before also. I just wait until the final sitting. My Superman tattoo will be finished the next couple weeks, but I didn’t tip my tattooist since the whole sha-bang isn’t done. I’ll probably tip her an extra 50 dollars when ALL said and done, which would be tacked on to the already amount of my initial cost.

Wow, the realism was captured perfectly. Love the dark colors as well as the shading. Looks like something out of a magazine givin the details in the eyes and lips that stick out as being a snapshot. +1.

I’m really weird on getting the SAME EXACT tattoo of someone else. Personally, I like my tattoo’s to be original and my “mark” so to speak. Change some things up a little but and claim it your own for sure!

If anything, a tattooist looks forward to minor tweaks or changing some things around. Not only does it give them a better feel of what they want to do, but it also creates a bond and trust within the person he/she is doing and the overall piece could come out the exact way that the customer wants it.

NICE! I love these kind of pieces to where it’s generation upon generation. Makes the tattoo beam with THAT MUCH more appeal to it. This is a tat you will NEVER look at and think twice. Maybe one day your child would sport it in honor of you. Cool stuff if you ask me.

Different from what I’ve ever seen. That hot pink looks great with a black and white outer surface type feel. Really makes it look more colorful than it is in a way. Nice memorial.

Lovin’ the terminator type skull with the red beaming eyes. Good work, like the overall product of the skull fading into the brass knucks. Black/Gray/Red is the perfect combo for a piece like this. Good stuff.

Just bumping this up to update.

Going in today to plan the background for my Superman tattoo. During the healing process, the scabs got so thick that when they fell off (prematurely because of whatever wetness/cracks/shower) the ink came off with it, leaving irritation & tender redness of my skin.
