I had some bad acne as a teenager, an it has left me with some hyperpigmentation on my arms. I don’t have any depressed scarring, so it is not scar tissue, just discolouration of the skin.

I also have a few moles as you can see, can my arm be tattooed ok?

I have seen worse scars covered. I don’t see why you should have any issues.

No, the moles won’t be a problem at all.

The only reason they would stick out is if you were getting really lite shading done directly on the moles: but even then, it wouldn’t look bad at all.

The pictures don’t show it but I have got some blackheads on my arms which don’t seem to want to go, I don’t have any inflamed acne on my arms but I am kind of worried that I am not going to be able to get tattooed.

as far as i know you will not have any problems having your tattoo done on your arm.
and as for the black heads if they bother you put some of those strips over them that draws the stuff out ..

I thought the blackheads would be problematic in getting tattooed being as they are a small infection under the skin.

I am not getting my arm tattooed to cover the imperfections on my arm, I just hope they don’t prevent me from getting the tattoo I want.

Just go to a tattoo shop in your area, show them your arm and tell them the piece you want and they will tell you right then if they see a problem with it..

Yeah, I am going to see my artist when I get the chance. I’ll be disappointed if I can’t get it done.
