The story behind it is that my grandfather got [more or less] the same tattoo when he was about 8 years old. My father then also got the tattoo. So I wanted to keep the tradition and get the same tattoo as them, although mine is more modern.

NICE! I love these kind of pieces to where it’s generation upon generation. Makes the tattoo beam with THAT MUCH more appeal to it. This is a tat you will NEVER look at and think twice. Maybe one day your child would sport it in honor of you. Cool stuff if you ask me.

Some very nice work.
I think it is great when tattooing can be used as a positive tradition in families.
