Hi
Best to get a cover-up or laser removal as the skin coloured tattoos will struggle with such a dark pigment.
The other downside is that your skin constantly changes colour with regards to heat, age, sun etc and the tattoo will not change in the same way.
I would suggest looking at the tattoo and decide if it is salvagable with a rwork – as…[Read more]

replied to the topic Is this possible, and for what sort of price? in the forum Tattoo Questions and Experiences 15 years, 9 months ago
Hi Lee
To be blunt to do either tattoo justice and so that it does not become a blurry mess the side of your hand is simply not going to be big or wide enough.
To fit it on will make it look like a stick figure or will simply blur into a blob with no detail.
You need a much bigger area of the body chest/arm/leg.
For a simple design as shown in…[Read more]

replied to the topic Help! V. worried! Question about Aftercare/ Touch-Ups, in the forum Tattoo Aftercare 15 years, 9 months ago
Hi
As Gsouder has stated the tattoo has been poorly executed and the ink is falling out.
This is due to either the skin being overworked so that the pigment does not hold and has been flushed out, or the artist did not go deep enough.
However based on the fill from the rest seems that the tattoo was overworked and they simply tried to pack too…[Read more]

The tattoo will fade and blur with age and can do so quicker if exposed to sunlight a lot.
Your wrists do not really expand so no probs with stretching there but you have to look at employment issues. Many employers do not like visible ink.
Also what seems a great idea at 16 may not seem so great in your 20’s and 30’s onwards.
Give it plenty of…[Read more]

replied to the topic Cremation ashes in tattoo ink what would be some of the risk??? in the forum Tattoo Questions and Experiences 15 years, 9 months ago
Hi
Just to clarify the point I am referring to the legal law reference as to the term ‘immoral’ – that is a legal reference they use not a personal stance I was taking.
As reference for example if you scatter ashes in the UK you need a license from the crematorium that it has been according to the regs. Some in the UK cities even go as far as…[Read more]

Hi
Yes as stated it has been done and is a relatively simple task as long as the ashes have been produced through a furnace and cremulator. No disrespect meant here but I will run through a few things to consider.
The reason for this is that the ashes will contain bone fragments that contain human dna and so would need to be ground down to…[Read more]

Hi
The area is called the pubis further down it is the vulva.
You can get it tattooed and yes it will hurt – how much depends on your pain tolerance but expect it to be a cat scratch upwards.
The main issue is about any hair. You should wax the area a few days (not just before as can damage skin area) so that it is free from hair growth (if…[Read more]

replied to the topic advice on new tattoo in the forum Tattoo Questions and Experiences 15 years, 9 months ago
Hi
The high UV from the sunbed(and possibly bad linework??) has caused the pigment to spread from the pockets of scar tissue in the skin.
This is because UV breaks down skin cells which results in menalin being used to protect the area – causes a tan.
It is also the equiv of tipping a mild acid on a new tattoo.
The bleeding of ink is known as…[Read more]

Personally I really like religious tattoos.
This is a nice site for religious tattoos in general

Hi as Cornish has stated…
The reason you can feel the tattoo is because the black ink is actually solid pigments taht were carried by a carrier solution and injected into your skin.
The pigment is held in place by tiny pockets of scar tissue which holds the microgranulation.
When it is hot our body carries more blood to the skin surface to…[Read more]

Hi
You are looking at around an hour’s worth of work if it was just outline – but I would also recommend some shading or colour as the tattoo may look a little bare/empty.
If you are going abstract I would suggest thickening the lines a little it is all personal taste.
As for cost it will prob be around $90 -$120 that said I always say carry…[Read more]

Thanks it is great to have it finished.
It took around 32-33 hours in the end time just sort of flows and we never tended to have much more than 3-5 mins break per session as most were around 3 hrs at a time so just wanted to crack on.
Personally I have found that 3-4 hr sittings on a big piece are just much more managble. I am just a big old…[Read more]

Hi
The cause is usually clogged pores in the skin also when you have a wound the skin around the area can be become irritated and inflamed.
The subaeceous glands in the hair pores also work harder (these provide a fluid secretion that keeps skin supple). If they get blocked this can cause the pore to clog and lead to an infection which is what…[Read more]
