It depends on how the koi are done, and if its just a fish, or part of something like a sleve, and depends on the colors/patterns on the fish. they really can either be just cliche, or they can look very original.

i would personally enjoy getting some work done outdoors. something about getting a fresh piece while in the fresh air outside just seems appealing to me.

ya, it looks to me like the artist wasnt going deep enough, because its not an even fade, its all patchy. I had one like that and i just went to a different artist to have it touched up

the wings could use a little more work, but other than that, looks great to me!

hard to tell from the pics, but maybe its not done healing all the way around the edges of some of the words, leaving it with a slightly blurred look… either that or the artist might not have gone quite deep enough in some areas.

thats a pretty cool piece, and normally i hate it when someone copy’s another person’s art but if this is a painting then i suppose that would be acceptable, as many people probably already have it. i have no idea what that painting is called, but it is fairly slick
