As for the stretching question if you bulk up, not sure about arms but one of the tattoos on my back stretched a little after about 1 year or weight training. It’s not huge difference though.

I wouldn’t go back to the same shop as it would be pretty awkward. I certainly wouldn’t go back to the same artist. I think the lion looks ok it’s just a weird pose to choose. That hannya mask however is awful. Get it fixed at another shop.

All that black will fade a lot in the next 2 months or so, so give it time to do that before disliking it.

That dragon, however, needs touching up IMO.

What ointment are you using? It can’t be good for you.

It’s very difficult to see from this picture, but to me it looks like one continuous blowout.

You’ll not know for another couple of weeks or so, though, since it may just be bruising.

Personally, if the tattoo artist didn’t put some effort into the drawing to make it theirs, they will not feel anything for the drawing and won’t give it their best. So I’d never let that kind of a tattooist go anywhere near me with the needle.

Hmm.. I don’t see it, really. It would just be a blue/green blob with yellow text on it…. an absolutely horrible color combination for text.

I have seen text tattoos done well, but those instances are far fewer than those that aren’t done so well. Right now, however, I can’t remember what was so well done about them, but if I were to guess they would probably be big enough to do something else with them… shadows or even background materials.
