Hi all,
I have a question about my tat its been 5 days and I wash it everyday but as soon as I put any ointment on it the color starts to ooze and run down my back why does this happen and it still burns

Make sure you are using 100% pure lotion/ointment nothing with fragrences in etc.

May we see a picture of you’re tattoo?

The color shouldn’t be running anywhere. It’s normal for the color to flake off and such for the first few days, but running?? Also, although some people do use ointment for the entire healing period, you can certainly choose to switch to unscented lotion at this point.

Stop putting anything on it. Let it dry out.

My last tattoo I put nothing on it at all and it was the best healing one yet.
