Just get it covered up.
I have no reason to doubt that you had no knowledge of the implied meanings behind the tattoo – afterall it is not a mainstream symbol for the WPM.
However depending on what the prosecution will try and imply you are best cutting short any ammunition that they can use.
As an example I knew a guy who in the late 60’s &…[Read more]

🙂
My points were that as a tourist not in the know it was quite a bit of research required to find what was happening in Chicago.
The reason I said Miami was because you could step in and out of bars, clubs, shops etc etc without even searching or even asking where should we go.
I liked Chicago but I still stand by what I said based on just…[Read more]

Hi
I was searching through my books on white power/Neo nazi symbols and to be honest that one is not actually listed as one of the main aryan symbols.
However the cross is of Germanic shape adopted by many Nazi and Neo-Nazi movements and red is often used to describe blood and land or blood spilled in order to defend the fatherland from…[Read more]

replied to the topic Can it be covered? in the forum Tattoo Removal Discussion 16 years, 1 month ago
Hi could really do with a pic.
In my experience most cobweb tattoos can be covered over and it is really a matter of getting a design that 1. You like. 2. Is big enough to cover the area.
You will prob have to go for some solid fill over the outline areas and maybe something colourful or solid black.
I have seen many covered by roses and such…[Read more]

Hi KH
In all seriousness I would recommend a short flower arranging course to any aspiring tattoo artist.
It really helps with design and still life formation.
Also when you draw from live flowers it gives so much different detail.
Also the advanced stuff (which when I get the money I intend to do) is with wire work so you can literally sculpt…[Read more]

Need a bit more time I put my artist list somewhere and cannot find it. Once I have I will bang up a couple I have visited which (in my opinion) were of note.

Well I will be honest I am in the same boat as KH if an artist did not have a single tattoo I would not trust them to get one done.
I am not saying that they have to be covered head to toe (although to be fair every artist I have ever used has been) but I would expect at least one or two.
I know objectively it should not matter if they have…[Read more]

Hi Phil
My advice is get some antibiotics and see how you go from there.
If there is pigment rejection there is not much to be done about it unless you want tattoo removal.
If it was highly toxic they would surgically remove the tattoo but this such a rare thing I would not worry about it. Your arm would have been dropping off to require…[Read more]

Hi
I am going to say this gently – it is not my intention to upset you but that is not the best of tattoos. I say it because I want you to get the most from your ink.
My advice is not to bother with a rework but get it covered up by a reputable artist before adding more work to it.
Here are a few examples of…[Read more]

First off that is an awesome tattoo idea. I love the motto as well.
For underneath you could have the Davey Jone’s locker opening with a skeletal arm reach out. Treasure chests, sharks, maybe the mast of a sunken ship.
You could go for the mermaids or sea demons depending on what you like in your ink.
Other ideas is to have Poisedon on a…[Read more]

Hi
It depends on how deep the tattooist goes – if they are a bit inexperienced they may overwork the area and really force the ink in. This can cause a really heavy scab and if you pick it the ink will come out leaving a scar behind.
Alternatively if they do not go deep enough you may have little or no scabbing but the ink will peel away with…[Read more]

Hi
To get the detail in would have to be bicep for an arm otherwise unless you got brawny arms will be cramped on the forearm.
I would advise leaving the back free as ink is addictive and you may never know when you want a backpiece.
Otherwise it will make a nice chest panel.
As flash goes it is a nice piece.
Ok as a personal opinion…[Read more]

Hi
The suggestions I would make is changing the key hole to something more baroque (swirling or fancy) style to fit more in with the outer edges.
You could also add some vines to wrap between the outer and inner hearts – maybe have some budding flowers?
Post up when done it will make a very sweet tattoo.
