It is a good piece as constructive criticism I would just have a small touch up on S in was seems to be a fraction fatter in the top half of the S.

Also looks like you have scar running through the A of am – might need to just touch that bit up a little as well.

Awesome design btw – depending on your skin type deep red, deep blue, black, and sometimes purple (although tends to fade quite fast in sunlight) are good pigments to be used in tattooing darker skin tones.

Yellow is also an option but again it depends on the melanin.

The best advice I can give is to have a tattoo where you are not going to have invasive surgery (they may end cutting right the tattoo).

First of all 12-14 is not chubby it is an average size for most women.

The key thing to remember is that the pictures you see are all professional models (who happen to have ink) and to look a certain way is what they are paid to do and spend their lives maintaining that.

It is health reasons really – I am always willing to run the risk and push the barriers for more ink but she is rightly pointing out it is taking loner and longer for each piece to heal.

The longer it takes the more prone to infection you get.

The simplest answer is when working with kids get a waterproof elastoplast (band-aid) over it.

Personally I don’t see an issue as it is a sculpture and nothing hardcore but that said if they are really young kids their parents might be of a conservative slant.
