Hello everyone. I found this forum whilst doing a lot of research before getting my first tattoo. I am turning 30 in 4 months 😮 and have promised myself I will finally get a tattoo for my birthday. I design Celtic Knot-work as a hobby so I am hoping to get one of my own designs done probably in grey work.
One thing I can’t decide on is placement. I would love a back or rib piece (I know ribs hurt) but I have severe scoliosis and may have to have surgery that would leave me with a scar all the way down my spine and would change the shape of my rib cage. Has anyone on here had scoliosis surgery and back/rib tattoos?
