No, you shouldn’t have done it yourself. Piercings can grow out, absolutely. With surface piercings it’s petty common. And eyebrow, navel, etc are kind of surface piercings. And that’s why it’s so damn important that it’s done right!!

It’s about 5000nok to go to the states and back, which would be a bit less than 1000$. And the piece on my arm would’ve cost about that much, if I’d paid full price for it :p

Strange… In Norway EVERYONE uses plastic wrap. Pretty much every single artist I’ve ever seen does, actually. Both here and in the UK. Most recommend to keep it for 4-6 hours.
I’ve never had any problems with it at least 🙂

Looks pretty normal to me for a ten day old tattoo. It might seem different from your tribals, because the contrast is larger with just plain skin – black ink, than it is when it includes different shades. It’s not completely healed yet(at least it wasn’t when you took the picture), and it might brighten up a bit when it’s all done 🙂

You can’t really tell the final result until is has completely healed.
