Hi
Need a bit more info as to what your tattoo represents as it reads Until Blows Hope?
My latin is a bit rusty as i don’t have much use for it these days but cannot make sense of the sentence structure to assist with ideas.

I have no issue with people who are not devout believers getting religious symbols tattooed.
The argument has many levels;
Because somebody gets a piece of art (religious or otherwise) because they like the art and beauty of it they are not a poser they are appreciating art for the sake of art.
If we were to apply this rule to all ink it would…[Read more]

Hi
Could get 2 gold coins (or note currency) one with engraved with a devil face or sinister demon type and the second could have a skeletal/withered tree.
Have this held in a skeletal hand with an egg timer balanced on the palm and the 2 coins (or notes) dropping through like sand.

Alive: Filip Leu would be my number one choice.
Dead (ok I know not possible but I cannot help but wonder what it would be like)
Would def have to be Michelangelo.
Anybody who can create art like the Sistine Chapel I am sure would have rocked modern tattooing had they had the means!

It is huge.
I have a hallway filled with heroes portraits and their deeds, and at the end is a candle lit marble altar on which stands a statue of me in the buff – heroic pose with all my ink engraved onto it.
Got to love yourself a little.

replied to the topic How much do you think this will cost? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 13 years, 12 months ago
Hi
If you want a pro tattooist you want to be looking at 6 hrs at 160 C. Dollars an hour so I would suggest you save more.
Yes you can prob get cheaper but consider going for the best or if you do get cheaper you have more funds for more ink and a decent tip.
It is on for life so don’t be shy of spending high on the investment.

It costs bandwith to store and as Turbo is kind enough to host for free 50 is generous.
That said you can always copy them to your HD, then print off and creater a little love shrine.

replied to the topic Need help, ideas on how to cover a part of this letter. in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years ago
Looking at the tattoo you have 4 choices;
1. Laser out part of the O and get the type of letter you really want.
2. Drop the lettering so that the O has a tail forming an E (this will make the rest of the piece disjointed).
3. Run a risk and get the letters enlarged – however this would be a difficult piece and could make it look a lot…[Read more]

Hi
Have you considered having the birds shaped from a favourite poem or prayer? I have seen a few tattoos that are made up from the words forming the shape of birds, butterflies, and even a turtle.
One of the nicest was an ivy vine and the blossoms were made up of memorial poem and then were lightly shaded in with colour.

Hi
Yes piercings can have a lot of inner healing so best not to rush them a good 6-8 weeks is needed before you swap them out for another bar or ring.
If you do ring remember to have some weekly maintenance on it and give it a good clean in alcohol as it will be in constant contact with your skin and the environment.
As long as no…[Read more]

A good start and plenty of talent.
Again you need to work on proportions a little more (try sketching hands and arms from a mirror perspective).
I would also say the Budda would burst with some more shading or a bit of colour splash such as red.You def have skill and for a portfolio I would recommend the following;
10-12 pieces properly…[Read more]

Hi
Sorry but the 2 together do not work for me. The palm tree and sunset is nice (maybe have a pair of walking boots left by the shore).
Everybody I knew in the 90’s who got old English tattoos all ended up with extended rework or covers because they got bored really quick with the font.
Just something to keep in mind.

Hi
There are a number of things to bear in mind before you do this.
The first is would you openly say to all your friends, lovers, family, and even strangers on a forum that you had crabs or some other delightful std?
The answer in most cases is probably no.
That is why you don’t hear the bad shit about bamboo tattoos because few ppl would…[Read more]

Hi
If you have suffered keloid scarring from a minor piercing such as ears you are a high risk category for any other form of body modification turning into scarring.
Tattoos do not pierce all the way to the sub-dermal but can result in small bumps and scarring lumps if you suffer with the keloidal condition.
One way to measure it is do you…[Read more]

Hi
Before you laser it off have you considered getting the tattoo reworked and add some hint of colour?
It is not a bad piece actually and could easily be refreshed and polished up.
