It may just be the quality of the pic, but it still seems to be unfinished. Is this done? I think it’s a super cool concept, and I like the tattoo, but it seems like it’s fallen short of being spectacular.

You are still at the stage where you should be tattooing yourself and not other people. Hope you’re apprenticing at a shop and not working out of your kitchen.

I would say as long as the tattoo isn’t raw anymore, it would be fine. Mine are usually pretty healed up by 3 weeks.

Just be aware of anything you may be allergic to. I have been using spray on sunscreen on all of my healed tattoos, and never had any problems! I am paranoid though, and am careful to keep them covered when I can.

I just use SPF 30 or better. I generally go for the generic Wal-Mart spray- on in SPF 50.

I am certainly not any type of an artist at all, but I’m sure a good artist can capture that image pretty closely. Maybe not exact, but definitely close.
