Woo Hoo! Definitely come back here with pics:)
I have to agree with yoda. While it sucks that there are very similar tattoos to yours out there, a blue rose is not exactly uncommon. In fact, the roses on my leg were almost blue! But I do hate it for you!
Interesting! I HATED getting my shoulderblade done. Hurt like crazy! Looks like a well done tattoo.:)
I’m sorry I am NO help, but WOW to ALL of them! Holy cow. Fantastic work; seems like you can’t go wrong with any of them!
What kind of soap are you using? I know my shop recommends using Dial hand soap. One thing I have found for me personally is I can’t use the Dial for longer than 3 days, or else it dries the tattoo out too much. I switch over to plain Dove or Ivory soap for washing after the third day.
A shower shouldn’t bother your tattoo at all unless you’re either using SCALDING hot water, or letting the spray hit the tattoo directly before it’s fully healed. You should let the water hit above the tattoo, then cascade down over the ink. ALWAYS use a CLEAN towel, and pat the tattoo dry after after every wash.
The only lotion I’ve found that is truly scent free is Aveeno Daily Moisturinzing lotion. I was using the Lubriderm on my tiki tattoo, and kept getting little infected ingrown hairs, so I think the lotion was just too heavy. The Aveeno is a little bit lighter, and I haven’t been getting the clogged pores using it.
Good luck!
Hmm, sorry. I’m not sure what’s going on there. If it were me, I would probably swing by my shop and have my artist take a look at it. I don’t think it’s poorly done, I think something’s happening, but I’m not sure what.
Yeah, I was just trying to ignore you, lol.:p
Wow! Bet that sucked to sit for.;) Can’t wait to see it in color!
Hello!
It’s not a BAD tattoo. But I wouldn’t call it a GOOD tattoo, either. As long as you’re happy with it, that’s all that matters!
I like it a lot!
And what is it with people talking about all their $200-$250 tattoos? I can’t tell if they’re bragging that they got a good deal, or if they’re thinking $250 is a lot of money. I paid $400 for my tiki tattoo! It was NOT cheap!!!
OP, the above is NOT directed at you in particular. Just a general thought that happened to end up on your thread.;) Although … just curious, are you posting the price thinking it was expensive, or that you got a good deal? Because you DID get a good deal, in my non artistiic opinion!
Lol, those aren’t mushrooms! The angle makes it look like they are, but they’re tiki torches. When I get the center touched up, I may see if he can texturize them a little more or something. I’ll try and get my hubby to take a healed pic, and y’all can see if they DON’T look like mushrooms.:)
