Hi Wham
Welcome to the ink addiction.
Totally kno how you feel I had a similar injury and when i came out of the cabbage sleep I found I had to learn how to walk again, read/write and all the other stuff we take for granted.
It too turned my life around and I got my arse into Uni which I am glad you are doing. I never regret my education.

They are sometimes called ‘bone tappers’.
There are many cultures that use a needle on sticks or trad sharpened bone to do a tattoo.
It is quite prevalient in Japanese, Tibetan, African, and Maori cultures.Does not affect any defibrillators either as manually done.
Good luck and take care

Hi
The easiest way to make a sleeve is to look at the spaces between the tattoos you have and in your mind think what would link each tattoo together.

I always find slamming your hand in the drawer or stapling a finger takes your mind off the itching with the pain… 😀
Slapping and moisturiser is what works best. Personally I found tattoo goo great for the itching but nowhere near me sells it *sniff*

Hi as Nicky states ppl are normally ok if they have diabetes.
That said the main issue is infection – if you are finding that your blood sugar level is unstable and slow healing on small wounds it is def not a good idea.
If you are stable and heal ok then follow above advice.
I would recommend against tattoos that are on the hands or feet as…[Read more]

Hi
I take it you mean the drug Isotretinoin??
Yes a common factor of that is thinning of the skin which can lead to scarring if you tear or puncture the skin. It also reduces the oils in your skin to stop acne this means that you shed skin more quickly.
If you had been taking high dosage I would suggest that you are at risk of fucking your…[Read more]

Yes I have a suggestion –
Don’t do it.
That idea is only one step away from getting it on your hands.
This sounds like one of those tattoos that would become medicore feeling at best and hated at worst years down the line.
Get yourself back to the drawing board and really put some thought into what you want – it is there for life.

Hi Oedozakura
Well you obviously feel strongly about the linguistic differences and styles between Japanese and Chinese characters.
I will not get into a pissing contest about it, as personally I do not really care as to which is ‘better’.
As for the translation you are correct in what you say about a speaker merely doing it.That said my…[Read more]

Hi
Depends how hard the artist went and your own health and age etc as to whether you will scab or not. Everybody heals differently so some scab some have a light peel of skin (like flaking).
Generally tattoo aftercare;
Keep a sterile cover for first 24 hrs (but try and wash with water and pat dry within 12 hrs and recover).
Then for first…[Read more]

replied to the topic Length of time for a sitting? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 17 years, 1 month ago
Hi Toby
I have done a sitting for over 6 hrs and trust me it is something you don’t want to do if can be avoided. The pain can get intense.
Many artists say 2-3 hrs for 2 reasons;
1. It stops the person from fainting and bleeding out.
2. It stops the artist from getting cramp, backache, tired and then they don’t make mistakes.
2-3 Hr sittings…[Read more]

Hi
Black is never an easy colour to cover over.
That said if you go for really deep reds and bold colours it could be possible. The colours would have to be very deep to hide the black underneath. You ay need to lighten with a laser for it to take but that is very expensive and painful.
My advice is maybe consider getting the orig tat reworked…[Read more]
