Check tattooer portfolios. When you find one that does the style you like, take them these pictures and let them design a tattoo specifically for you.

The fuzzy lines look like a “blowout” to me. When the needle goes too deep the ink spreads out under the top layer of your skin.
I’m not sure about the red marks, but the tattoo itself has issues.

I try to concentrate on what the finished work will look like, and think about what our prisoners of war endured in the South Pacific during WWII.

I used a numbing agent one time (don’t recall the name) and I turned out to be allergic to it. I almost went to a hospital because of severe swelling. It was on my lower leg.

It depends on the location, and if the tattoos are right next to each other. The skin gets stressed and needs a week or so to relax between sessions.
