You wont be the first person this week to have done it and no one has ever been persued for it.

One of the seaside towns was in the news last year for trying to sell the right to use the town logo as a tattoo but they pretty much got told to f off and they did.

Some people do react badly to red ink but very very very few.

Just keep looking after the tattoo as you were advised by your artist.

Remember what ever you want to do in the future will rely on good skin to work with so treat that thing like you love it.

In short average at best.

I asume the star is a cover up or you are a big USSR fan? (4)

The Script looks like script just not my thing and rather dated as an idea. (4)

You will have to wait a month at least really and preferably 3 before removal.
Blistering is never good.

Red is one of the easier colours to remove. Laser work is all about science and red ink absorbs light that is half the frequency of that absorbed by black. If you have the right kit red is no problem.

As you say it can of course be covered by any good artist.
How well it will be covered is a factor of two things really the quality of the design, i.e. how much of the old Taz is used cleverly as part on the new image and secondly the amount of black or at least dark colours used.

You are looking at about £100 per session. You would only need enough sessions to take out the solid bits.

We always work in conjection with the cover up artist to ensure that only the bare minimum gets lasered out to ensure cover up can be applied to its best advantage.

Word to the wise ppornan adding white to black only ever works a little, I have several clients who have has 3 and 4 lots of white tattooed in with no visable differance at all. White inks can sometimes contain metals which can react with laser leaving a brown mark that nothing will get out.

My opinion is that a few sessions of laser and then cover whats left of the name with a Koi or simular and repair the waves etc in black and grey to match whats there.

Just my opinion but black over it will always look second rate. You have made one mistake please dont rush into another.

Red isnt hard to laser out if you have the right kit for the job.

I stand to be corrected but there is no way on Gods green earth you can tattoo over black thats that freshly healed to make it skin coloured.

Did you try and google barbed wire tattoos? That should get a few million results and the Starts and Stripes tattoos gets about the same amount.
