Thanks for the pictures. I’m going to send them to him now.
*edit That’s very nice btw.No probs, glad I could help.
It’s things like those that could tempt me into going full sleeve… but I am far too chicken to go for that! -

It is not like you are going to be taring at it everyday (if you are I can see the relevant argument).Coffee – not meant to exit my body through the nose, good I got that spill-proof keyboard.

That will be lovely indeed, I saw that the studio where I got my fish did something interesting as well, just to give you an idea what the finished design can look like:

I am more likely to be seen in alternative night clubs where seeing tattoos and piercings is no big deal anyway and no one minds if you start chatting with them because you think their inkwork is cool. Advertising in those would probably be a good idea. Why not try to find out which clubs your current clientele frequents and start from…[Read more]

I agree with everyone else that you should bite the bullet and just tell your mother since laser removal is not only a long, expensive and painful process but also often leaves enough evidence of your stupidity that she will still notice, as other people have already said.
Yes, your Ma will be disappointed since she already told you what she…[Read more]

is it going to be more realistic ( feather like )Probably not, I really like the simplicity of it. Might add a few highlights to give it a bit of a stylized feather pattern but will have to print it out in its final size to decide. There’s not a whole lot of space on my shoulder cap :S

Welcome! As far as the 3/4 sleeve is concerned you’ll probably have to do this in seceral sessions anyway so why not start with a “center piece” somewhere that won’t look weird if you decide not to go further after the first sitting?

Guessing from your artists name, (Shane) you went to Skinworks in the city center? That’s where I had my sleeve done by Keith. Shane is really cool, I would like to get tattooed by him. All the artists in there are really down to earth and won’t try to fleece…[Read more] -

4 months later: No toch-ups were required and everything has healed nicely. Phew!
Started a new job last week and since we have a business casual dress code now (except for dress-down Fridays and Saturdays) my tattoo remained undetected until yesterday. When I put on that jumper on Friday I didn’t even notice that parts of my fishie’s fins peeked…[Read more]

Do you have a coloured tattoo or one with only black ink? Apparently a coloured tattoo scabs more heavily. My back tattoo scabbed quite early and a good lot and the scabs kinda ended up stuck to other parts of the tattoo and THAT itched quite a bit, but I didn’t hit that stage until week 2.
I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
