i have had tebori done and it takes A LOT longer than machine. the flip side is the colors are A LOT more vibrant and the pain is less than a machine.
looking at horitakas portfolio, i would say he is so so, even though he is part of the legendary horitoshi family. i dont know of any artists in toronto area that does good tebori, but if you want…[Read more]

if you are serious about tattooing, you should consider moving to an area that has more concentration of tattoo shops, like usa or europe or something. your artwork is awesome and you should have no problems scoring an apprenticeship.

yeah you would figure that the ass wouldnt hurt as much but at least for me, it sucked. and it is pretty hard to heal because youre always sitting on it and whatnot.

B/g and even line work shouldnt be as bad. Youre not doing color right? I thought ass wouldnt hurt as bad either, but it was tough. The area right above where the butt crack starts, another wow.

doug hardy is the son of legendary don ed hardy, but i have to say dougs tattooing isnt the greatest. electric dragonland is a well respected shop so i dont think you can go wrong there. but if you want the best in mn, you can check out megan hoogland. though she specializes in b/g, she does do great color as well.

it doesnt matter how long she has been tattooing, as long as you check out her portfolio and see that you like her work and she has done large scale/similar stuff.
where are you located? maybe someone here can recommend you a good artist?
