Most apprentices I’ve talked to or read about (at least those that weren’t born into money) have funded their apprenticeship by working a second or third job. It’s not exactly an easy road to travel, especially when you start traveling it so ‘late’ in life. :S

All my sessions (but one) were booked a Month apart, Two weeks was the minimum gap that my artist would book me and that was dependent on it being fully healed.
That’s just my artist though

You don’t simply stop a proscribed drug regimen set my a doctor. You need to ask THEM if it’s okay to stop or not, and definitely not get tattooed without knowing for sure if it’s okay or not.

I’m very new to tattoos but my understanding was that “gun” was a scratcher term or for those who didn’t know.

I’ve never heard any of the artists in my shop call it a gun, just a machine.

The system gives out negative points when users ‘necromance’, or bring dead threads back from the dead.

I’m not entirely sure how this all works, but I believe that this starts at -100 and then the penalty is lessened with each subsequent post.

You went to a cheap “tattoo artist” and he fucked you up….lesson learnt I hope…

You’ve got plenty of good advice on the other forum, just let it heal.

Once that’s done either get it lasered off or go see another artist to see if it can be fixed IMHO

As you say, it’s pretty straight forward. You can’t tattoo light over dark, but you can tattoo dark over light. The results may not behave 100% predictably, though, so I’d recommend at least getting a tattooist that is used to covering up ink.

It was THE thing in photography for the past few years, but now it’s about as fresh as the Koi is in the tattoo world. Somehow I think the style will live a bit longer than a few years in the tattoo world, though.
