As long as you aren’t overly twitchy, it should be doable. It requires some patience though, so you’d need a good artist.

I doubt it’s anything in particular. It’s just an extremely poorly done, hideously ugly tattoo of a failed life/death concept inside a heart-shape.

I should think that the grafted skin should behave like any other skin. Tattooing over the scar, however, shouldn’t really be done until years (decades?) after the wound has healed.

Well it needs to heal completely before you do anything more with it, so I’d say a month at the least.

Perhaps it’s time to cut your losses and move on to a competent tattooist?

Your tattooist should have explained all of this to you, but I should think it’ll be at least a couple of weeks before you can wear any tight clothing over the tattoo. Also, your tattoo is basically an open wound. Try as much as you can to keep it away from dirt and germs.

Oh crikey, that’s going to be a difficult fix. I don’t see how anything other than a major laser job can change this.

I think that maybe you are correct that the main problem is that this doesn’t work well as an arm piece. I’m having a problem identifying where each part of the bird is, although Im sure that would all come together in the coloring.
