I was 26 because I grew up in an area where just about everybody had diy tats or gang/prision tats and I thought they looked shit.

I was tempted at 14 to get one done with am mate in the back of the pet store but the place was filthy so i said no.

I am happy with all my tattoos and I wouldn’t want to remove any.

Ink put in the ear is never good and they all have a tendency to blur. I have seen many that have blobbed after only a year or so it simply is not a good place to hold tattoo pigment.

Yeah I found that some mad legislation I was chatting with artists who would say well been ‘open’ for 7 years but been tattooing 20 you know how it is…

I always say that legalisation means that it can be backed by better legislation and checks.

I am hoping to visit again next year so I can see some of my extended family.

My main concern is actually the lions at the bottom – if you are going to add them they will need to be bigger and more detailed to avoid them going blobby with age.

Actually it can damage or irritate new tattoos die to the high amount of alcohol and perfume that it has. Do not use this stuff on fresh tattoos.

If the tattoo is fully healed it is unlikely to affect the ink.

It would certainly make an interesting and artistic piece. I have seen several in a similar style and seems quite popular in the south americas.

The main thing is to get the hands proportioned as they would be much more slender if just bone and be sure to get the correct number of digit bones.

I think it is a very regional thing. Whilst in the UK it is becoming more acceptable there are pockets where it is clearly undeseriable.

Also for me I circulate in a area of my city that is full of orthodox Jews so i aint gonna get any compliments there.

Many of the places that may stock this sort of equipment will only sell to professionals (even if for display use) I would advise letting your artist know your intention and allow them to source the gift and pay them for it.

I will be honest unless you have huge arms that tattoo is going to looked cramped and you end up losing detail which will not do the tattoo justice.

I would suggest for something the complex to go big on a chest plate and that way you can fit the detail that is required as the wings would need expanding.

I would think that something elegant would go nicely and the banner is dependent on the style of doves really.
