I don’t like the term ‘tramp stamp’ anyhow.
But looking at the tattoo what is wrong with it? It is nicely shaded the lines are tight and the design is quite unique to the many I have seen. (And trust me I have seen some really crappy ones lol).
If you were to cover it up you would have to get something quite large and sizeable.
Personally I would…[Read more] -

Hi Azure
Checked out your pics – some great ink there.
I think with a little bit of space between them the roman numerals will make an excellent addition, and cover the higher part of your shoulder.
Alternatively you could extend the zodiac symbols by adding further symbols that represent each of the dates? (just throwing ideas around).
Anyhow…[Read more]

Hi Loopy
Ok here is the thing if you got ‘See who gives a fuck’ tattooed on your wrist you will be forever in conflict with just about everybody you meet.
The word ‘fuck’ would offend the majority but what may drive ppl to anger or violence is the challenge that it puts forward – you might as well tattoo on your head ‘what are you staring at?’ -…[Read more]

Hi DJN
Well to be honest I have a passion for tattoos and keep a set of books (including the bibles) to hand. 🙂
This is so I can try and get inspired for new ink or to help out.The easiest place to look is the internet – if you type in something like bibilical quotes for family or children they can do a speedy search. I would recommend that if…[Read more]

Hi
I will be honest tattoo removal is something that perhaps you should consider as a last resort. I say this because of the following reasons;
It is painful – a lot worse than any tattoo work.
It is very expensive – a hell of a lot more than you would spend on a rework.
Results vary – forget the adverts of x million tattoos removed successfully…[Read more] -

Ok I am not dissing the tattoo.
I actually like the designs but see them as two separate constructs.
The symbols would look great but I think that if you were to have roman numerals I would have them done as a separate tattoo maybe within a frame of some sort.
Does that make sense? I can picture the design but my mind is automatically trying to…[Read more]

Welcome to the forum.
Nice choice for a first tattoo. I have worked in places of places that have a zero policy to visible ink.
Just make sure it is above the elbow and you will be fine. Alternatively the leg is always an option but likely you will expand there with time.It never ends with one! 😉
Good luck

It is possible but brown does not always show well against skin colour.
Also why the back of an earlobe?
Nobody could see it unless hunting for it and you would not be able to view it?What is the design?

Well I have seen several hundred religious tattoos and would also recommend http://www.religioustattoos.net/ for Christian/Judaic designs.
Off the top of my head;
Praying hands where the rosary beads form the word faith.
Scripture style scroll with the words faith written across it.
Cross/Star David with the words faith at the centre.

My advice is to think what is it you love about family best?
Once you have that the quote will come to you with no issue – once you see/hear/read it you will know it is right for you.
I am also happy to help you with any biblical quotes or passages once you know what it is you are wanting encapsulise.
Good Luck

Hi Eighty4.
My thoughts on tribal (just from my other posts I follow the belief it is just my opinion and shouldn’t matter to you).
I remember when the craze for tribal started and all my friends were like damn that will make me look cool/sexy/hard or just different. They rushed out and got themselves plastered with it.
To be honest I don’t…[Read more]

I wouldn’t worry about it. Human nature is not designed to handle the total truth all the time.
Personally I have nothing against been told the truth but for me it is a novelty as in my job people lie to me everyday. 😀The way to look at is this – if somebody asks your opinion on any subject go through a checklist that goes like…[Read more]

Hi
With regards to your concerns (btw I am an enthusiast not an artist!);
1. A busy artist is usually the sign of a good artist – because lots of people want to be tattooed by them. You are paying for the time so a respectable artist will not rush the job. Shit tattoos = no customers.
2. Always best to have an idea what you want before you walk…[Read more]

Ok
What is it about the tattoo you don’t like?
I take it is a human heart – could have done with a bit of closer pic to be honest.
There are several things you can do to alter it.
You can go for some colour shading – maybe add some red or blue to it. Make the veins more noticable.
You can go for deeper shading in black and gray.
You can add to…[Read more] - Load More
