I would check out another artist.
I was comfortable with what turned out to be mediocre. Then heeding the advise of the people in this forum I went looking for other talent.

Most of the tattooers around here (Harrisburg, PA area) recommend A & D ointment. I think it smells a little too much. Aquaphore is good but it’s not cheap. Eucerin is made by the same company and a little cheaper. (I haven’t tried it)
Try A & D if you can find it.

I like Aquaphor too. I’ve heard not to use Neosporin because of possible fading of the colors.

Once I get my mind set on something I go for it. Therefore I understand completely not letting ANYTHING getting in your way.

I didn’t start till I was 56 years old. My first one was in June, since then I’m up to about 24 1/2 hours and working on covering my right leg. Is that a “pant leg” vs a “sleeve”?
