Okay, nice picture and not bad at all. Very simple to fix. Its right under the collarbone, which is a tight spot and easy to have this happen. Its no big deal now that I see the picture. 7 Liner this is easy to do also. If you’ll notice on the new pic there’s kind of a flat spot near where the lines meet. Have him round out that spot and…[Read more]

Welcome Callmebrit, I look forward to posting with you. I give variations of the same advice to anyone seeking a tattoo. The advice is this: You are doing well seeking opinions from experienced people. you are making a smart move in investing your time into research before bgetting inked again. Thanx Sherav, I let my brother read the post, he appreciates the comments. We’re working on his use of magnums. He works on commission, but he’s still learning the trade under me. It helps to hear other’s opinions instead of getting his big brother’s words all the time.

I wouldn’t have chosen that particular wording, but it is pretty bad. I’m not sure I would have been able to say it was diamonds if you hadn’t told me. I guess you can kinda get that from the lower three, but the first…no way. Sorry. Its possible it could be fixed but I’d have to see the original art. Make sure you go to a reputable artist.

Outlaw gave you some good advice. Many people go spend $90 dollars on a beginner’s tattoo kit then they trash someone because honestly they are barely able to draw, have no concept of shade, don’t even know what a technique is, let alone how to mix them, don’t understand the use of color, and never knew that graywash was originally a style and…[Read more]

Also avoid any lotion or product that has the ingredient Lanolin. Causes color to fade.

I’ve got some of my work posted here in photo albums. We’ve only got our recent work, over the last three weeks on the computer. You can find us at http://www.myspace.com/newcovenantink. I’ve missed photographing about a quarter of my work, but there should be plenty of my recent stuff for you to look at. My brother’s work is there too, but he’s got…[Read more]

Okay…blast it…can’t help myself. There’s always two sides to any story. From the shop side, anyone who does not work out of a shop is a scratcher…period. From the home tattooist side, anyone who is an accomplished artist and who works sterile and responsibly desreves to be acknlowledged as an artist. From the shop side, we worked long…[Read more]

Okay, Joker since yer not the tattoo-er, and instead are the tattoo-ee I’ll ask the questions and if i step on unlicensed discussion, a moderator can remove it. I may be able to answer some of the issues without seeing the pictures.
First. Was it done in a shop, or at a house?
Second, do you know the experience level of the tattooist?
Third,…[Read more] -

To be honest, I never even noticed that. You’re right, from an artistic point of view the wings may be a little light. It was planned that way. The guy pulled in a pic, and this is what it was…exactly. Chris didn’t do any modifications to the line work, he just inked it and colored it.

We don’t have everything to open for piercing yet…but we’ve got the experience, We’ll be set up for piercing at our shop by the 16th of next month. My wife is our piercer and I do some as well. We’ve always used a 14 guage for piercing, and everywhere I’ve been its been a 14. Now I’m not smart enough to convert that to mm. You can find…[Read more]

try taking three pictures. Have the subject sit down, keep light out of the background, have the light behind the camera. Take a picture from slightly above left, strait on front, and slightly above right, post all three pics, work with it til you can get a pic that is not blurry.
I’ll wait for a moderator to answer any questions. I don’t want…[Read more]
