I just use L’Oreal Factor 50 sunblock for outdoors, once I’m home again and showered I blather loads of moisturiser on, or if I’ve still caught the sun, plenty of after sun lotion. At the moment I’m using Avon after sun butter, it’s lovely and leaves your skin feeling beautifully soft. I have to take care out in the sun,…[Read more] -

I like it, I’m not in love with it. I admire you dedication though, that is NOT a pleasant place to get a full on tattoo.

On that first link, I thought, wow these are really crappy tattoos… but I kept looking, and the longer I looked the cooler I thought they were!
I’m sorry, I’m no help. To me, these are very unique and would require someone with vision and a deep sense of art. Any one else would be just copying the style.
Good luck!

you could also have a severe hypertensive reaction to the monkey fur that they use to make red ink and got a bad case of bulimia from your artist. Eat lots of spinach and use saline solution in your eyes and you’ll be fine.

What do you mean “what lotion”?
I’m talking about 2 different types of lotion (moisturizing+sun block) vrs. 1 lotion (Moisturizing with sun block included like the link I put up).

How big are you thinking? To get the detail in the corners of the star it’s going to have to be quite large. I like Gnarly’s Idea above, I think that could turn out really well.
Your best bet is to find an artist that has done celtic work and talk to him/her about it. They’ll be able to guide you to the right Idea.

Last night I dreamed about a good friends wedding. In my dream, about 4 hours before the wedding I found out the bride had been bitten by a zombie (the zombie looked very similar to colin powell, actually) and only had a short time to live. So then it turned into an episode of 24 where I was racing around in real time yelling at everyone to find…[Read more]

I feel like we are all being negative on your idea. I personally like the idea but I too object to you doing it cheap and doing it in parts. The problem with doing the text now and adding the rest later is that you are going to have two different tattoos from two different times. The cohesion won’t be there and you will have to compromise the…[Read more]

1) that tat is NOTHING to be shy about. It looks really good and it looks really good on you. Don’t be shy!
2)Those pics are pretty sexy.
3)No matter how much you explain to me about the hellmouth being historical and religious the ONLY reference to me is Buffy the Vampire slayer, the TV show. Now, you can deduce a few things from this. One, I’m…[Read more]

replied to the topic Could you give me input on this artist? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 15 years, 10 months ago
looks good to me. Some of his black and grey looks slightly over shaded but that might be because the tat was new and needed to heal over. The lines are great and most important, to me anyway, the portraits “pop”… they have life to them.
Thumbs up from me!

Yeah, someone gave me a 4 for my tat. I was momentarily a little upset but then I remembered that it was from a stranger on the internet so what’s the point of getting upset.
You ink is fine, you like it AND I like it, isn’t that all that matters? 😉

If your foot fell off while you were sleeping you wouldn’t need to get it amputated.
I would give it some time. My wife just got a wrist tat and it was swollen for a few days and then it went away. I don’t know why/how, you would probably know more about the mechanics of this than I do but I’m sure you are fine. If your foot turns black, falls…[Read more]
