Well, goodness. Welcome. 🙂 That’s pretty cool to be so young and sure of what you want on your body forever. And you write like a pretty intelligent person. How refreshing!

I can’t imagine any place is more uncomfortable to tattoo than the sternum. I’ve had ribs done, but man, I don’t think I could every take a sternum. I mean, RUBBING the sternum is a means of rousing unconscious people. Tattooing it? Dang, boy.

I’m with Arni here. It’s not going to stand the test of time. Ask an artist who’s familiar with the show to come up with an idea. Email quality artists in your area; throw out some feelers. That’s what I did for my last two tattoos, and I’m very happy.

Sam, that’s a good thing. I have a real irritation with young people and bad tattoos. Age is no excuse.
Not sure on the pictures, but Jerry, yeah, no fear of me marrying this gal and paying for squat. MAYBE a Starbucks coffee if she’s a little woozy after. 😀

It’s only fair I warn her. 😀
I’m considering getting a little one…. Since I’ve been shooting off my mouth for half a decade I’m going to make my right thigh into a Japanese thing-a-ma-jig, about adding a little tatt there near the cherry blossom… I was thinking something modern, maybe a Hello Kitty with my cat’s coloring, or a 1 Up from…[Read more]

Well, shucks. He’s on vacation this week. Won’t be back until Saturday so I can properly thank him and look at the email I sent.

Sam, that is so awesome, and I love that color scheme on you. Fits your personality perfectly. Chilled, laid back, natural, kindly. Love it. God. You make me feel wimpy with only my three hours.

Didn’t even notice that, lols.
Comparing Al Capone to Charles Manson is like comparing a paper cut to a gunshot wound. And I’m done with this thread.

That’s how I started, and oddly enough, with a flower. Sarah owns Vivid and is a good person. I’ll entrust her with “my girl.” 😉
I’m really excited about this.

Looks like the dragon needs to be finished up in his coloring, but he’s not a bad fella. 🙂
The stars are not my thing, but again, they’re okay. The only thing really I don’t go crazy for is the music note.
Try not to take the criticism to heart; I love my text tattoo and it drives some good people I like here absolutely batty and they hate it.…[Read more]

Oddly enough, cepalin, the active ingredient in scar removal gel, is extract from the common onion. Sorbic acid is in there, but it’s unlikely to bother it. While I would try to gently wipe any off my tattoo, it’s unlikely to cause significant fading.
Cepalin works pretty slow, and it works at a cellular level to kind of “normalize” things,…[Read more]

I’m the friendly residential nurse here, so I’ll shoot my shot. 🙂 I looked at your profile, Heather, but couldn’t find an age. The first step we need to take is healing the existing acne. This means wearing clean natural fiber shirts in every day life and to bed at night that are loose-fitting. No picking! (That was the hardest one for me.)…[Read more]

Not sure why you’d want a tattoo of someone who’s sodomised boys, pimped out underage girls and violently murdered a bunch of people, but ok.
This tattoo captures many of the reasons people with tattoos get bad stereotypes.
This is dumb, but I wouldn’t want to be alone with someone who had a tattoo like that. And this is from…[Read more]

It’s not well-done, but why anyone wants a tattoo of such a man is beyond me. Do explain.

It could also be kind of a reverse “inside the body” thing… Where it’s outlined by epithelial tissue to reveal another world.

I like the idea a lot, and I’m thinking it may have to be a little bigger, and the right artist can really do this justice.
