the back is a good place, also to build up naturally takes years , your skin will be able to cope with it as long as its slowly and not over a short time .

no offence but its seen as being very disrespectful to have an Aum / Om on your foot.
infact in Buddhism you are not meant to have any religious symbol tattooed below your knee and in Hinduism it will be seen as being even more disrespectful .

if your underage and still have loads of growing to do leave it till a few years.
plenty of people here have ended up having to cover up a tattoo they have had done underage because it looks shite and that includes myself :rolleyes:
