I used a similar method for my last 2 tattoos and they have healed amazingly well. In fact, people sometimes think they are brand new, un-healed tattoos.

Small pic but it looks fine to me. I agree with Def, you could probably get that reworked by a good artist. Or even a full back piece if you’re willing!

If you do decide to add to it, please make sure you let us check out the artist you intend to use first so we can tell you if he/she is good or not.

It’s hard to say without seeing a pic, but most likely you will need laser sessions to lighten it before it can be covered. Post some pics up if you can, maybe its not as bad as you think?
