Sorry I’m not really creative with ideas but this seems difficult to get a matching tattoo when you want it to fit with your existing piece and it will be more random on her. Maybe get something on a different part than your back so it’s a seperate concept altogether. Like if you get each others favorite flowers or birth flowers on each other or…[Read more]

I’m not sure of the ingredients in the baby lotion but it’s always recommended to use a fragrance free lotion. Lubriderm and Curel are usually good choices. Yes the peeling is normal so now is when you generally want to make the switch to the lotion. Do not peel it, let it flake naturally.

You’re right, as long as you’re happy that’s all that matters so congratulations. And it’s nice to see some people are actually mature enough to accept some honest opinions and criticism without getting all defensive and angry.

I don’t think these are very well done, either. The spacing and execution on the letters on the first one is uneven and the shading, cursive and spacing on the memorial piece is inconsistent and amateurish. The “n” in “finger” looks just like the “m” in “them” and the “n” in “Grandpa” is horrible. Sorry, I just don’t think these are well done at all.

replied to the topic how long till heals in the forum Tattoo Aftercare 15 years ago
Everyone is different and some tattoos may heal faster than others but I think the general rule is that it isn’t fully healed until at least a month. After a few days of getting it they usually start flaking and regrowing the skin. Sometimes they go through more than one peeling phase during which it wil look faded and crappy. Then the peeling…[Read more]

i had to wait three week to get my appointment but obvioulsy it was worth the wait…Sorry, this sounds a little funny because three weeks is absolutely nothing to have to wait for an appt. The artists that can take you in immediately are usually the ones to shy away from.

I admit when I read 5 hours and $250 I was scared but it looks pretty good. I’d like to see a bigger picture but from what you, um buttweheat, posted it looks nice. Also seems to fit the arm well. I’d still like to know how you got a pretty nice tattoo for only that much. Congrats.

Might have an issue down the road with some of the lower lines but find a good artist and see what they think.

Sorry, I did not mean to come off impatient was just wanting to know if I could use it for aftercare instead of Tattoo Goo or A&D.I’m not a big fan of Tatto Goo. Damn, a little impatient wouldn’t you say? I never heard of that stuff, should be ok. If you’re that impatient ask your artist maybe they’ll answer quicker than we.

I’ll try to stay open minded and not be overly critical. To be honest, at least you’re not thinking about getting a long, run on quote. I’ve seen a couple of text tattoos under the collarbone that don’t look half bad so I think you’re idea would work ok with the right artist. That being said, I still agree with albert1500 about maybe getting an…[Read more]

Excessive movement and sweat are not good during the tattoo healing process. Take some time off, keep them clean and let them heal properly.
