I think a couple of other artists at the same shop as Smith are very good also.

I love my S/W 686 357mag. Just as you say the muzzle flash and the boom make everybody stop shooting and look.I just realized I think that this is the first pic I have seen of you.
Yup, the 686 is great. Mine is the “plus” model which has 7 rounds, not even sure if it’s still being made or not.
And you know what,…[Read more]

For the hell of it, here’s a (grainy) picture of me at the indoor range with my 7-shot, S&W .357 magnum. I love seeing the muzzle flash at an indoor range! I’ve got well over 5,000 rounds through this one.

I’ve been shooting for many years and one of the first rules of safety is never to have your finger in the trigger guard unless you’re ready to fire so this picture pretty much pisses me off.

I like nice, elaborate tattoos also but I don’t feel that every goddamn tattoo needs to be an extravagant piece of artwork. I think the bomb tattoo is fine, nothing special but not bad. Yes, the quality of work could be better but it’s ok, and as for the subjcet matter…I like it! I like buttwheat’s bomb tattoo and am considering something like…[Read more]

Honestly i think it looks a little flat and lacks depth. But other than that it looks good.I pretty much agree. The linework isn’t horrible but it isn’t great either. It’s hard to tell but I hope and assume your finger isn’t on the trigger in that picture. I’m also a gun advocate, own several (mostly handguns) firearms, have my state concealed permit and visit the indoor range often to stay practiced. If someone owns and carries I feel they should regularly practice so they know very well how to use it if God…[Read more]

Yeah but still a cool little list representing great old school tattooing, at least I’m lucky to have been tattooed by one.

I’m going to take a different opinion in some ways. I like the ship (although I hope all those tiny lines hold up) and I really like the shading and detail with the waves. On the other hand I think the clouds could have been done better, especially comparing to the work on the waves. Also, I don’t really like the entire orange background, it’s too…[Read more]

I totally agree with Buttwheat as you can see with the examples. I remember years ago my buddy had a scene from “Number of the Beast” muraled on his motorcycle gas tank…cool as hell! One of my all time favorite bands and concerts.

Yeah the linework is solid but so far I’m not loving the colors or the shading and the owl seems to be missing it’s legs and talons! For a piece like this and the position of the bird there needs to be prominent extended legs and talons in my opinion. Overall a pretty good tattoo so far.

This has potential, a couple of things though…I”m not sure I like the colors so far but I’ll withhold judgment for now and where are the talons? For an owl or eagle piece or the like they need prominent talons in my opinion to help it look more authentic and badass.

I’m a supervisor in my job and in my field we’re never closed so one of my hardest jobs is to try and fairly assign staff to work the holidays each year. We try so hard to be fair but it’s unfortunate someone has to work and that’s the way it is. And although I didn’t have to actually be at work, I’m on call so I had to carry a phone all day in…[Read more]
