How about giving your dad his own tattoo? I think he probably deserves that instead of just throwing something on to an existing tattoo.

Dude the inside of the arm flows well it’s just that hard line on the outside of your arm that cuts off any flow.
I think getting several artists doing a sleeve is fine as long as that is the plan from the start.

I’m sorry but I Those fonts will not tattoo well. You have to think about long term as it fades and blurs out you will not be able to read them and the will just look like blobs. heck the first one I can’t read now.

Looks well done and better then most first tattoos. A couple of wonky lines on the back but it looks that is going to be filled in.

It is fairly obvious that text tattoos are the”cool” thing right now. I would avoid any trendy tattoo what seems really cool today will be tomorrows nautical star.

I know I’m just looking at pics of it but from here it doesn’t look infected at all to me. Just heavily scabbed.

You may want to get it zapped a few times with a laser then get it covered. I would rethink the lackluster tribal but if thats what you want then go for it.
