As a small constructive criticism I would suggest more colour emphasis on the eyes and a bolder lining on the hat so that the stripes stand out more against the shade.

Great stuff though.

To be honest once I succeeded in getting my head around the basics it has been great.

Having visited many of the studios across CA I am well in favour of the Safe Body Art Act.
Respectable artists will have nothing to fear and it might push out some of the flotsam that have no regards to health.

First of all you need to get some blood work done and check that you have enough white blood cells and general health checked.

There could be an underlying health issue (possibly hereditary).

It really depends on the attitude of the employer and whether the customers care or not.

Many of the heavily tattooed men and women I know tended to be self employed, worked in programming or design.

Attitudes are slowly changing but many facial and hand tattoos are still taboo in many customer (face to face) roles.

To be honest you maybe best taking your tattoo concept idea to the artist who is going to do the piece for you otherwise you can end up with the tattoo not flowing on your body.

Also you will need a seriously good artist I have seen many predator tattoos and frankly a large majority of them were lousy.

In total agreement something that complex with a full family crest would need a full chest or back otherwise it will become cramped and end up looking like a blobby mess.

Have you considered having a tree trunk cut so the face (where the rings are) is showing and having the family motto carved into wood?

Would take up less room.
