I use tattoo goo soap, salve and lotion.

It smells lovely and the tattoo hasn’t even really scabbed (just a faint dry line under finger tips) or peeled (gradually a fine black dust is coming off)

How long has it been growing on you? You don’t sound totally sure about what you want – and to get a full sleeve when you’re still moving between styles seems risky.

Yeah, i use less than my little nail’s worth of lotion across the two tiny tattoos, and once that’s absorbed I literally just wipe a finger in the tattoo goo pot and then over my skin.

I saw on another thread someone say you shouldnt be moisturising after 10 days…is that right? I figured you carried on until it was healed?

Looking at the glossary of Bizarre’s body art magazine, it says hypertrophic scarring can happen around piercing holes, and they do look like pimples.

Advice is: don’t squeeze, apply compresses/tea tree oil and if practical take the piercing out.

I agree with sugar&spice though – if it’s reducing,you’re probably on to a good treatment

I thought you had to STOP it drying out? The stuff i have says to use it three/four times a day….like it feels dry under my finger tips and all. I can feel the ink on my skin. But I thought it was Ok if it peeled, not something that was explicitly meant to happen? help!

Also…is it normal to not peel at all?

I’m afraid I don’t have the knowledge to be particularly helpful, but I can save you time and tell you that those who CAN be helpful will probably need a bigger, better quality picture.

Bleeding doesn’t sound particularly healthy…maybe you should talk to your tattooist?
