lol im just not a “bright colours” person, a majority of my wardrobe is black grey and navy blue. I just can’t imagine having big brightly coloured patterns on my body, it would be too stark a contrast to my dark and twisty personality lol

Agreed. I don’t have any colour work personally. I’m far to pessimistic an individual to have bright colours all over me, but even with my black and grey work I give them a rough idea of what I want and then I sit back and wait to see the end result and I’ve always been happy because I trust the people I go to

It all depends on your skin to be honest, different parts of your skin heal in different ways. Just don’t pick it or irritate it and let it get on with it and see where you’re at in a couple of weeks.

To be honest, at the moment it just looks like a fresh new tattoo. Give it a month to fully recover and see how it goes. Sometimes mine look like they’re blurring out after a few days healing but within a couple of weeks they’re perfect again.

Nothing wrong with your idea, like buttwheat said, that particular placement may not have the best staying power. In terms of composition this is what your artists is for. I would personally use this time to reconsider placement and research artists to make sure you get the best man/woman for the job!

I know of a lot of people who have found a real connection with an existing piece of artwork. So many people these days are getting Banksy inspired tattoos or Gustav Klimt back pieces. Done, though I found your questions quite repetitive. There’s only so many ways that I can explain that yes being tattooed is painful but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. lol

Why would you risk any of it? you can travel and still have a tattoo… just put the money you have saved for the tattoo away somewhere. To be honest if you’re going travelling this will more than likely help with your tattooing aspirations. A lot of things change in your perception once you begin to experience the world outside of your bubble!
