Have one similar to this on the right. The pain was a lot less than people hyped it up to be. Recently got one on the back of my arm was way worse.

That’s something you will most likely need to discuss with your artists.

MrChen said it all….playing rugby the next day even after line work would just be setting him up for infection and potential problems with the ink. He should definitely think about postponing the tattoo until after rugby season.

Doesn’t happen to me at all…My artist is ready a couple of days before hand with a preliminary drawing and when i show up for my appointment the stencil (if he is using one) is ready to go. He applies it and starts tattooing as soon as i walk in and fill out my forms. I would voice your concerns to him, if he’s a dick about it move on.

Looks good so far…subscribed to see the finished product.
