Hopefully cornish will pipe in on this one and correct me if I’m wrong, but with enough laser treatments, you can get it faded down to so faint that the new stuff can be tattooed over it. Well, I guess the simplest thing would beginnning at the beginning, up at the top, then working the 5 bars down the length of your arm, round after round after round after round until you’ve hit the bottom and the end of the song.

Sadly, tribal IS plain and boring. What you need to do is look for a very GOOD tribal ARTIST and bring your back to them. They will do what they can with it, but only someone very proficient at tribals and with a good eye for making good tribal (some might think that’s an oxymoron, but it does exist) can make it look less plain and boring.
