Welcome to the forum, and truly sorry to hear about your mother.
Unless your friend is a very good tattoo artist, be aware that the tattoo artist will most likely need to change your design (slightly, and for the better) to turn it into a tattoo.
As the others have said, tell us where you’re located and perhaps the people here can direct you to…[Read more]

I don’t exactly get what you mean by managing space. Wouldn’t that depend on what ink you have planned?
Me, I think because I’ve ruined my right leg with a singular, non-themed piece, I might allow that leg to be singular and unthemed. Also I don’t think I’ll be connecting my sleeve pieces to my back piece, for instance, excepting maybe some…[Read more]

Welcome to the forums Tim.
It’s a dangerous business, coming through our door. You step into this place, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to. 😉

I think I read somewhere that something like one in six people on the planet have develop an allergy to Nickel. This is why most jewelry (especially piercing jewelry like earrings and navel-studs (no clue what the correct English word is for that) manufacturers have stopped using it completely. Only cheap piercing jewelry now has nickel in it.

As the others have said, I didn’t see the idea coming together when I first read the description and saw the sketch, but that looks AMAZING. Very cool idea, and perfectly unique… which is an awesome thing all on it’s own 🙂

Good luck with your quest. There’s nothing I see that would fit you, but I just wanted to echo that this long-assed quote could go very wrong very fast., so keep on thinking and planning.

You know, for someone trying to get into the tattooing business, you are awfully short tempered.
You have been told, quite calmly and simply, that we will not allow tattooing discussions in here. This is nothing that you will change by yelling and screaming and namecalling.
If you don’t like that, you may feel free to stop visiting. If you want…[Read more] -

It could certainly work, but I’m not liking the blob on pad 1. As you say, pad 5 might be more or less doable with some creative thinking, but #1…
You think the gradient is the way to go then?
Here’s a different concept for you. May not work at all outside my brain, but:
Get the pads in solid black (no helping that with this concept), then…[Read more] -

I can’t see that working as a tattoo at all, except maybe with the white replaced by skin color… but that wouldn’t look good at all.

Well, I definitely prefer the ‘fingerprint’ style of the faint pad as it is in your design, but if all black okay then you’re in much better shape. A laser session or two, and you could just make the paw print bigger (of course, that wouldn’t exactly be your paw print either, strictly speaking) and it would incorporate the old into the new.
