My wife is fine with them and actually has 2 herself. She is getting a 3rd in January. She does bitch a bit about the cost though and she’s a bit apprehensive about some future tats I have planned.

Some of the Goo Gone products are water-based, but others are petroleum-based. You could also try De-Solv-It (sold at Wal-Mart) which is not water-based. btw, I would apply it with a sponge, rag, etc. rather than spray it directly on, so you don’t get any inside the display.
